Recently, the company has undertaken a high-precision precision mold processing project, where the size accuracy of the mold workpiece is required to be within 0.01mm. In the CNC process with the largest processing volume, not only is precision ensured through process technology optimization, but also management optimization has been carried out on the processing site to ensure qualified processing quality. The countermeasures implemented on some processing sites are summarized as follows:

1. Measures: Set up independent precision workpiece logistics and storage areas;

2. Function: Clearly distinguish high-precision parts, ensure that processing personnel are clearly aware of the accuracy requirements of the workpiece, and carry out necessary control and protection from all aspects of processing

Confirmation of precision mold processing equipment and personnel

1. Measures: Check the accuracy of the machine tool before processing, select machines with excellent accuracy for processing, and designate operators with excellent processing skills to undertake processing tasks;

2. Function: Ensure machining accuracy from both human and machine perspectives, and avoid equipment accuracy and personnel skills affecting accuracy;

Steps for increasing in machine inspection accuracy of precision mold processing tools:

Measures:

① After installing the tools in the tool library, use a tool tester to detect the tools, ensuring an accuracy of within 0.01;

② After the tool is loaded into the spindle, the machining can only be started when the tool swing is within 0.01;

Function: Tool accuracy is crucial for CNC machining accuracy. By confirming the tool on machine twice, it eliminates the impact of abnormal tool accuracy caused by tool assembly on machining quality;

Three confirmations of accuracy before, during, and after precision mold processing:

Measures:

1. Each main insert needs to undergo three inspections during the machining process:

Incoming material accuracy testing.

2. On machine inspection of workpiece accuracy after processing.

3. Three dimensional inspection of IPQC process. Use the same photoelectric probe for three detections!

Purpose: The error in all three tests is within 10 μ Only workpieces within are qualified products; Control the accuracy of the workpiece throughout the entire process from pre to post; Facilitate immediate corrective action.
